Q: Will a front bumper from a 2007 Ford Ranger Sport fit on a 07 Ford Ranger STX?
The front bumper on my Ford Ranger STX is the kind that sits low to the ground, I thought I liked it when I bought it, but now I don’t. I was wondering if I could replace it with a bumper from either a XLT or Sport model without replacing the mounts. It has fog lights also.

A: It should bolt right up to your mounts.

Q: I have a 1999 Ford Ranger Sport Regular cab 4 x 2 and I am trying to change the driver side seat?
The problem is I got the front two bolts out and the back two refuse to budge. I WD-40′d it to death, yanked on it with ratchet, nothing works. I broke the socket trying to move it. Its a 15mm.

A: using a impact sometimes works but sometimes it actually busts them….

Try a product called PB Blaster. We keep it in the shop for jobs like that and this and another one called acrokrawl (sp) are the only ones we found that will loosen up stuck on stuff… most stuff you buy like WD 40 are like water and are not good at breaking loose stuff…. these two are… try that and maybe get a cheap hand impact… you wack it with a hammer to act like a impact to break it loose.

Q: I have a 2007 Ford Ranger Sport and need good suspension lift kit??
i have a Ford ranger and i am looking for a 3″ suspension lift kit with an add a leaf in the rear. any one have good places to get them for low cost?
It is a 2007 Ford Ranger 2wd Sport edition and i want a 3″ lift in front with a 2″ add-a-leaf in back. It doesnt have to be fancy in fact it is just to get my truck a little higher for clearance purposes and to get my bike in the back without sagging. Any one know of any pretty cheap suspension kit places or somethin??

lift and not a body lift.

A: JL Audio sells Stealth boxes made for certain cars and trucks. Q-Logics also makes custom boxes that are meant to blend in and fit in to tight spaces. Take a look at their web sites. They aren’t cheap, but they are worth it

Q: Have a 1999 Ford Ranger Sport 4cycl with a check engine light on.?
Its a 4 x 2 with 96,000 miles on it. It runs well and has no significant issues. When put on the computer it gives the code 455 EVAP. What does this mean and what do I have to do to fix it.

A: they are correct it is a vapor leak issue, rangers are notorious for the valve going bad that is located on the drivers side engine compartment, open the hood and you will see the evap canister, follow it back about two feet and you will see the valve i am referring to, ive replaced many of these with this code

I just bought the truck,and the seat is totally gone,it gives me a backache seriously. I’ve tried seat cushions and pads,but the seat is just worn to death.I called my usual junkyards,and its popular item that know one has. Does anyone know of another vehicle seat that will work? A: get a pair of sass bucket seat from repco or other car shop

i have a 2008 ford ranger sport with 15 inch wheels i want to buy black chrome 18 inch mags but the offset range on the ranger is (-12 – 25) and the 18 inch black chrome mags offset range is ( 45 ) what can i do?

A: If they don’t make the rim to fit a Ranger then the only thing you can do is get adapters. They are pretty cheap and almost any auto parts store can order them for you. I say pick a different rim as I am against adapters.

Q: How much would it cost to get cruise control installed on a 2007 Ford Ranger Sport?

A: Call a ford dealer. They will have the “book time” for this job and the parts cost.

They will have to pull the steering wheel apart and possibly run some wires down through the steering column.

Q: i got my windows tinted on my 2008 ford ranger sport and i think theres a bubble near the top of the window.?
i got my back windows 3 windows tinted at 35% and driver door and passenger tinted at 50% i noticed on driver window when its down near the top there is a bubble u can feel it when u touch it. can i take it back and they would redo it or is it nothing ? and if they redo the window would they do it darker tint ?

A: Did you just get it done? I know when I got mine done there were a couple tiny bubbles but they worked their way out. I’d call the place that did them tho and see if they would take a look at it.

Q: why does magnaflow not make catback system for ford ranger sport 08?
they have it for all other rangers but sport model and edge model why what is different from each?

Q: Ford Ranger Sport truck 3l compared to 4l?
I have heard that Ford will not be coming out with a 3l for 2009, just 4l.

My question is for the 2008 models, is there any different in gas mileage comparing a 3l to 4l? i’ve looked at sticker window and it shows both pretty much the same and on fuel economy website it shows you get better mileage overall with the 4l.

That’s hard to believe.

Is the 4l a gas guzzler?

A: If you’re buying a truck, fuel economy is generally not that important to you. But anyway they should get about the same mileage. The 4.0L SOHC doesn’t have to work as hard to move the truck around at the old Vulcan V6 does, so their fuel mileage is about the same. With that said the 4.0L is considerably more powerful and is a newer design than the 3.0L

Q: will it change the sound of my 2008 ford ranger 3.0 sport if i just add a magnaflow muffler ?
if i replace the stock muffler with one magna flow muffler will it sound alot deeper? and witch magnaflow muffler would be the best and deepest sound for my 2008 ford ranger 3.0 sport?

A: yes it will. any time you change the muffler it will make a deeper tone for you truck. As far as which one that is to each his own. you can check youtube for different videos of magnaflo but the only true way to find is to hear it in person. also you should check out their website. I myself had a 1994 ranger with the 3.0 and I had the cherrybomb extreme and loved it. good luck to you

A: Maybe a 33 by 12.5 inch tire. Dont really know my rangers that well but that would be my guess

A: Good question! Maybe you left it parked unlocked and with the keys in the ignition(?)
